BUSY BUSY BUSY!!!

Not been able to keep this blog updated due to being rather busy, not due to laziness and not having anything to update you on (for once) haha, so unfortunately the weekly update has gone right out of the window! I am as of the moment the only Graphic Designer here at The Grand so I am handling all the design work single handedly, which is great experience! I am now obviously no longer on work experience so finally have some pennies coming in (good times). The most recent job I have completed of which is the largest job to be completed to date and within a short period of time (5 days). You can view the publication online via the link below!

BUSY BUSY...

Got quite a few jobs to do today so going to be another quick post, just thought i'd keep this blog up to date! I will post some more design pieces I have completed here at The Grand in the next few days, as for now here's a logo I found that I think is shhhexy...

Annoying ads...

For Example!

Which T.V adverts of the moment do you find 'annoying' and do you think they're effective as they stick in your head? Thus creating a buzz surrounding the product/company via word of mouth or do they just completely put you off ever purchasing/using the product/company? I know how I feel, they annoy me greatly, however they're the first company I remember but in my experience they're normally the most expensive too.

The Grand's 3rd Birthday.

The Grand.

As previously mentioned in my last post I have just recently started some work experience at The Grand in Clitheroe. I have been working here for the past month or so and have gained valuable experience and learned what life's like for a professional graphic designer in the real world. This differs from that of a pre-graduate at University. Deadlines means deadlines and work means work. I have now completed over 20 live briefs printed and used for the venue. Examples will be uploaded soon!

Here we go...

So I have finally given in to creating a blog, the reason behind why it has taken me so long to jump on the bandwagon is that I didn't want to create one and just not routinely keep you all updated. However as I have now taken on work experience and started Freelancing after my time out I feel there is more than enough to keep you all entertained with a weekly update. I will be posting anything from the work I have completed to work that inspires me and or maybe more frustrates me with bad application and usage of Graphic Design (name and shame).
